The Wonthaggi Woodcrafters was formed in the early 1990's and is made up of local men and women of the Bass Coast area and surrounding regions. Our workshop and club rooms are on the Bass Highway just before arriving in Wonthaggi at 239 White Road, Wonthaggi.
The Wonthaggi Woodcrafters have a well equipped workshop and club rooms at

Member interests include Woodturning, Pyrography, Toy Making, Scroll Sawing,
Wood Carving and Basic Carpentry.
Throughout the year the club gives public demonstrations in woodturning, scroll sawing and pyrography and runs toy making sessions, “Kids Corner”, where children have the opportunity, under guidance, to make wooden toys of their own.
The club also conducts sales activities for the general public at various venues in the Bass Coast Area, including our popular Xmas Shop in Wonthaggi, every December.
During the Easter and Melbourne Cup weekends we join with the Phillip Island Artists Society for sale activities at the Cultural Centre at Cowes. Other activities include woodcraft sales at the Wonthaggi Plaza, a sale activity at Newhaven Hall, together with the Patchworkers of Phillip island and toy making activity at Churchill Island every Easter Weekend.
