About Us

Throughout the year the club gives public demonstrations in woodturning, scroll sawing and pyrography and runs toy making sessions, “Kids Corner”, where children have the opportunity, under guidance, to make wooden articles of their own. The club also conducts sales activities for the general public at various venues in the Bass Coast Area, including our popular Xmas Shop in Wonthaggi every December and at the Cultural Centre in Cowes during the Easter and Melbourne Cup weekends. Other activities include a sale activity at Newhaven Hall, together with the Patchworkers of Phillip island at Melbourne Cup weekend.

The Wonthaggi Woodcrafters welcomes members, both male and female. Our workshops and club rooms are at 239 White Road, Wonthaggi, at the Jean Melzer Centre. Our members come from all over the Bass Valley and surrounding South West Gippsland districts.

Please contact the Secretary at woodiessec@gmail.com if you wish to join or wish to find out more.
