Furniture Group

The Furniture Group is led by Sydney Gordon. An enthusiastic person whose aim is to encourage all comers either to learn basic skills and or, for more experienced woodworkers, to contribute to the group through supervision and or participation in group projects. An example of the latter is a solid woodworking bench which has been made from scratch by group members.

Several of the groups’ participants have now made small coffee tables and some have moved on to more advanced projects. Space and equipment is limited but both these problems are being progressively addressed. Any one interested in joining this group should call Sydney.
